AP for ALL
Advance Placement courses are college-level classes that better prepare students for the demands of selective college admissions process and of potential employers. AP courses mirror the rigor and challenges of college courses. We offer a variety of AP courses at MACS through which students may earn college credits. |
College Now
College Now is a collaborative program of the City University of New York and the NYC DOE designed to improve the academic achievement of NYC Public High School students, while preparing them for the demands of college. College Now offers students from designated high schools the opportunity to enroll in college credit-bearing courses FREE of cost. |
National Honor Society
NHS is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. |
College Access for All
Everyone one of our students will have access to a true "college-ready" culture at MACS. All of our students graduate from MACS with an individual college and career plan and have access to resources that will support them in pursuing that plan through our Senior mentoring program, full time college counselor, graduation team, an college trips & events. |
